Seamless back office support and engagement from Jordan meant we were never hanging on for candidates or delaying the process.Recruiting senior finance staff is a challenging time, but not so with Headstar. Recruitment seems to be a bit like a matchmaking service between the recruiting Company and the Candidate, balancing the needs of both. Responsible to the recruiting Company as a paid service provider, but a duty of care to the individual Candidate as well, to ensure that they are making a career move that is right for them. Work is such a massive part of your life. It fills so much of your time and is central to your financial and mental wellbeing, it is important to get it right. Plus moving jobs is a big deal! You go from being the expert to the newbie, with not just the new role to learn, but new faces – people who need to get used to you too. There is a bit of bravery needed to make such a significant change. Not many people move jobs when they are happy– some do – but often a job move is looking for something better – be it work/life balance, personalities, variation in the day to day activity/conversation or something more significant that is no longer working for you. This whole process becomes so much more enjoyable and fruitful with the right help and representation.I came to Jordan at a time when I was quite unsettled in my career. I’d had years of stability in a role I loved. Varied and exciting work but consistent in all the ways you want an employer to be. A change in ownership and small incremental changes in ethos over a period of time resulted in it no longer being the role for me. I tried a couple of different things after that but they didn’t stick. I knew what I didn’t want but wasn’t overly sure what I did and I was wary of putting my faith in the wrong company again.Jordan worked with me to get to the crux of what I wanted and needed out of my work. He managed to be many things for me throughout the process of acquiring my latest role; a therapist, a life coach, an agent and a recruitment expert too of course. He understood my priorities and championed my worth, successfully matching me with a company and a team who made me feel instantly at home.Thank you Jordan. In Janaury we came to Headstar for support on recruiting thress new finance staff. Rachel Porteous & Mohammd Rahman came to see us. They wanted to meet the current team and understand the business structure before excuting any recruiting plans. Whithn 2 weeks Mohammd found us 2 great temporary staff, which 1 of them have now been made permanment. Rachel also took on the task of finding 2 more permanment staff, which she did within 6 weeks.
