You’ll be joining a company that’s built a reputation for doing things properly. They’re looking for an Accounts Assistant who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys variety and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone when something doesn’t quite add up.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻:

• Bank reconciliations
• Accounts payable, including invoice processing, statement reconciliations and payment runs
• Payroll payment schedules
• Intercompany recharges
• Council tax reconciliations
• Supporting month-end with accruals, prepayments and deferred income
• Working alongside Management Accountants and Credit Control to resolve queries
• Managing supplier and customer enquiries via phone and email

No two days are quite the same, so you’ll need to be comfortable juggling priorities while keeping standards high.

𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂:

• Have previous finance or accounts experience
• Are confident using Excel and Microsoft Office
• Understand the importance of handling confidential information
• Enjoy solving problems rather than passing them on
• Can communicate professionally with people at all levels
• Stay organised, even when deadlines are flying at you
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team
• Can spot errors others miss
• Like taking ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do
