Supporting Fractional CFOs Since 1986
Headstar has been putting Fractional CFOs, or part-time finance directors as they are sometimes called, into businesses since 1986 and indeed this was our only service line until 2014.
Over the past four decades, we’ve built a trusted network of Fractional CFOs across the UK who work for us with clients on a flexible basis.
We don’t take large percentages of your day rate, nor do we expect you to carry out large-scale marketing efforts on our behalf. If you land a contract yourself then great, we’re here to support. If we land you a contract, we’ll discuss openly what we charge the client and pay to you. Throughout the contract, you’ll have access to any of our network and can pick up the phone any time for support.
There are also options for more committed agreements, whereby we carry out a joint marketing effort. In return, we do charge a small percentage of any contract win whether that be by yourself or by us, in return for the added visibility and business development support.
And you’ll have ongoing access to the wider Headstar network. Whether you need advice, a sounding board, or sector-specific insights, you can always pick up the phone to one of your peers. And let’s not forget – you’ll also have the backing of our specialist finance recruitment consultants for if you need to bring in new staff to better future-proof your finance teams.
