Interim Financial Controller
Not every interim assignment is about keeping the lights on.
Some are about building something from the ground up.
I’m working with a newly formed, fast-growing business that has ambitious plans and now needs an experienced Financial Controller to help create the financial foundations that will support the next phase of growth.
This is a part-time interim opportunity, requiring approximately three days per week, with the flexibility of working remotely. There will be occasional meetings in Harrogate, so being within reasonable travelling distance would be advantageous.
The business is looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who enjoys operating in a hands-on environment and can bring structure, process and commercial insight to a growing organisation.
Key priorities will include:
- Establishing robust financial reporting processes
- Implementing and improving finance systems
- Developing scalable controls and procedures
- Producing meaningful management information
- Supporting leadership with financial insight and decision-making
- Creating a finance function capable of supporting continued growth
This role will suit someone who enjoys the challenge of building rather than maintaining, and who can quickly assess what good looks like before putting the right frameworks in place.
The assignment is initially expected to run until December, although there is potential for the scope to evolve as the business continues to grow.
