Looking for more than just another credit control management role?

If you’re the kind of Credit Manager who enjoys improving processes, leading people, influencing business decisions and having real ownership over cash performance and credit risk, this could be exactly what you’re looking for.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply maintain the status quo. You’ll have the opportunity to shape processes, improve reporting, introduce efficiencies and play a key role in protecting cash flow while supporting continued business growth.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll lead an established credit team while taking ownership of the sales ledger, credit policy and overall credit risk across the business.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:
• Leading, coaching and developing the credit control team to deliver outstanding performance.
• Driving cash collections and ensuring collection targets are consistently achieved.
• Producing meaningful reporting and insight around cash performance, aged debt and credit risk.
• Managing customer credit limits, exposure and relationships with credit insurers and agencies.
• Maintaining robust credit policies, controls and governance across the sales ledger.
• Working closely with senior finance leadership to identify risks, improve performance and support commercial decision-making.
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and automation to create a more efficient credit function.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱?
You’ll already have experience managing a credit control function and enjoy balancing people leadership with operational delivery.

You’ll ideally bring:
• CICM Level 3 qualification (minimum).
• Previous experience leading a credit control team.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk management and sales ledger control.
• Experience producing credit and cash collection reporting.
• Confidence managing relationships with credit insurers and credit reference agencies.
• A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.

Experience in wider credit risk management would be advantageous but isn’t essential.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂?
• An annual salary of up to £42k (depending on experience)
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

If this sounds like something that would be of interest to you, apply now or get in touch today for more details.
