The next Industry Finance Connect event, hosted by Headstar and RSM, will explore how finance professionals can build the resilience and mindset needed to perform at their best in demanding roles.
Taking place at RSM’s Leeds office on Thursday 17th September, 5.30pm – 8pm, this free event will bring together finance professionals from across Yorkshire for an evening of practical insight, discussion and networking over refreshments and free drinks.
Building resilience in demanding roles
Our keynote speaker, Stephen Bailey, Founder of More Than the Numbers, will lead an engaging and interactive session exploring the role resilience plays in both wellbeing and performance.
Stephen will look at:
- How we can better navigate pressure and strengthen resilience
- Common challenges that test resilience in professional life
- Practical techniques for sustaining wellbeing and performance
- Opportunities to reflect on personal experiences and learn from peers
Thinking beyond the Job Description
We’ll also hear from Karandeep Sohel, Associate Director at Headstar, who will share insights on what makes a good hire looking beyond the standard job description.
As with all Industry Finance Connect events, there’ll also be plenty of opportunity to meet and connect with other finance professionals from across the region over drinks and refreshments.
The evening event kicks off with drinks and networking from 5.30pm, with the presentations starting at 6.15pm, before a free buffet is served at 7.15pm.
