A community for female finance leaders
HerFinance Circle is a new initiative for female CFOs, FDs and aspiring finance leaders in Yorkshire. It creates space for discussion, learning and networking with peers.

The next HerFinance Circle exclusive event takes place on Monday 22nd September, 8.30am – 11am at Box, Leeds (Box, 15 Infirmary St, Leeds LS1 2JS). The session will bring together senior finance professionals for an engaging keynote speech, a live panel discussion and ample informal networking opportunities.
Keynote Speech: AI and Automation
The keynote speech will be delivered by Carolyn Cole, Partner at Unity Advisory and Alice Fee, Associate at Faculty. Carolyn has 27 years’ experience across industry and consulting, including roles as Interim CFO at Thomas Cook and earlier career at BT. She specialises in technology-enabled finance operating models, FP&A transformation and multi-year change programmes for FTSE 100/250 firms. Her session will focus on the role of AI and Automation in the finance function.
Live Panel Discussion
Following the keynote speech, there will be a live panel with senior finance leaders:

- Alex Owen, FD, M Group – Plant and Fleet division
- Kayleigh Wright, CFO, Tes Global
- Sophie Calverley, CFO, Checkmate Fire Solutions

HerFinance Circle is currently running a clothing drive to support Smart Works Leeds, a charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women for job interviews. We would welcome any donations of high-quality second-hand clothing.
