Two of Headstar’s outstanding leaders, Sue Moul and Sam Goodwin, have been shortlisted for the prestigious Yorkshire Leadership Awards 2025. The awards, hosted by TheBusinessDesk.com, recognise individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and have made a significant impact within their organisations. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Leeds on 20th March 2025.
Sue Moul: Finance Leader of the Year
As a Regional Finance Director at Headstar and a Portfolio Finance Director for multiple clients, Sue has transformed a number of finance teams, delivering measurable results like improved cash flow, profitability, and stronger stakeholder relationships. Sue’s leadership extends beyond client work – she leads the Headstar Mentoring Programme, shaping the next generation of finance directors and she also pioneered our FD Breakfast Club, building a supportive network for finance professionals.
Sam Goodwin: Marketing Leader of the Year
Sam, a Chartered Marketer, has redefined Headstar’s marketing strategy, significantly boosting brand awareness and driving business growth. Over the past year, she spearheaded our new webinar series, redeveloped our website for better user experience, managed our digital and PR activities and coordinated a wide range of high-profile events, including the upcoming Finance Futures: Executive Summit.
