ABOUT THE COURSE LEADER

Simon Hartley is the Founder of Be World Class and a globally respected sport psychology consultant, performance coach and published author. He helps athletes and business people to get their mental game right.

For almost 30 years Simon has worked with gold medallists, world record holders, top five world-ranked professional athletes and championship-winning teams. He has worked at the highest level of sport, including spells in Premier League & Bundesliga football, Premiership rugby union, First Class County Cricket, Super League, golf, tennis, motor sport and with Great British Olympians.

Simon specialises in applying proven principles of sport psychology to real-world organisational challenges including recruitment. This has included projects with some of the world’s leading corporations and foremost executives.

Since 2011, Simon has also published a number of highly acclaimed books and become an award-winning professional speaker.

The Hire Great People programme has been developed in partnership with Be World Class. Headstar has worked closely with Simon for several years, delivering joint events and embedding these principles into our own recruitment approach.

Who is this programme for?

HR leaders, talent acquisition teams, internal recruiters and hiring managers responsible for building high-performing teams.

There are around 4 hours of video content in the course, in addition to 3 hour-long live interactive masterclasses on Zoom. In addition, there are a number of practical workbook exercises which help you to establish a plan of how to apply your learnings to your organisation. In total, including this self-directed learning it is estimated to take approximately 14.25 hours to complete.

Yes, the Hire Great People Programme is independently accredited through The CPD Certification Service. This practical programme provides 14.25 hours of recognised CPD learning. You will receive your CPD certificate upon completion of the course following the final Zoom masterclass.

Participants are invited to join three live online masterclasses on Zoom with Simon Hartley. These include group coaching, interactive discussions and the opportunity to ask Simon for additional advice which is relevant to your organisation. You will receive details about the dates of these sessions after you have signed up.
