We never had any doubt. Our very own Rachel Porteous beat off all the competition last night to win the coveted title of Young Recruitment Professional of the Year at this year’s Yorkshire Young Professionals Awards. Reflecting on her achievement, Rachel shared, “It was an honour to be surrounded by so many talented young professionals who were shortlisted. Winning was a real pinch-me moment.”
Rachel, who leads our Transactional Finance division, has been instrumental in driving success at Headstar. Her dedication to client satisfaction and exceptional relationship-building skills have resulted in significant repeat business and numerous five-star reviews. Beyond her recruitment role, Rachel is also passionate about professional development, exemplified by her partnership with Leeds Beckett University, where she leads an online Careers Masterclass for graduates transitioning into finance roles.
