Financial Controller

A manufacturing business in Harrogate is looking for a Financial Controller to work closely with the General Manager and Finance Director. You won’t just be reporting numbers, you’ll be shaping how decisions get made.
The role:
- Lead the monthly management accounts process
- Own annual budgeting and forecasting
- Business partner to the General Manager
- Manage year-end accounts and the external audit
- Strengthen financial controls and governance
- Oversee statutory reporting and tax submissions
- Drive process improvements across finance
- Supervise and develop junior finance staff
What you’ll need:
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role
- Strong technical accounting background
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or a product-led business
- Comfortable working hands-on in an SME setting
- Confidence influencing people outside of finance
