Finance Manager
A growing c. £10m turnover services business in Halifax is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to step in quickly and take ownership of the finance function.
This is initially an interim assignment, but there is real potential for it to become a longer-term or permanent opportunity for the right person. The business needs someone practical, reliable and comfortable covering the full finance cycle in a fast-moving environment.
The Role
- Full responsibility for accounts production and monthly management accounts
- Delivery of transactional finance activities (AP, AR, bank, reconciliations, journals)
- Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
- Support budgeting and financial control across the business
- Provide clear financial insight to senior management
- Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the finance function
What They’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role
- Strong management accounts and financial reporting background
- Comfortable working in SME/service-based environments
- Hands-on approach with transactional finance
- Available to start ASAP
