𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁

If you’re looking for a Finance Analyst role where you’ll do more than produce month-end reports, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and senior leadership team, you’ll provide the analysis and insight that helps shape commercial and operational decisions across both the UK and US operations.

This is one offers plenty of variety. You’ll combine management accounting with commercial analysis and business partnering, giving you exposure to different areas of the organisation and the opportunity to develop your skills as the business continues to grow.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴:
• Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting for the US operation
• Analysing margins, sales performance, overheads and profitability trends
• Producing monthly sales and margin reports for senior leadership and the US sales team
• Supporting annual budgets, rolling forecasts and wider financial planning
• Monitoring working capital, including stock forecasting, stock control and cash flow
• Working with Department Heads to review performance against budget and understand variances
• Overseeing month-end accounting including accruals, prepayments and depreciation
• Maintaining control of the fixed asset register
• Preparing financial information to support monthly board reporting
• Providing financial support for customer tenders and other commercial activity
• Working closely with Operations, Sales and Marketing teams on projects and business initiatives

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿:
• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or part-qualified
• Good experience of management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting and analysis
• Experience working with ERP and accounting systems
• A commercial mindset and an interest in understanding what sits behind the numbers
• A proactive and organised approach with excellent attention to detail
• The ability to adapt as the business continues to grow and change
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or another product-led environment would be advantageous
