This Leeds based business is looking for someone to run the day-to-day finance operations, lead a small team, and make sure the numbers and processes behind the business run smoothly.
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit back and only report. It’s for someone who enjoys being in the detail, improving processes, supporting colleagues, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being involved in the detail but can also keep the bigger picture moving.
What will you be doing:
- Calculating monthly sales commission and coordinating approvals with department heads
- Processing payroll including HMRC submissions, pension uploads and payments
- Managing and supporting two finance team members
- Handling HR administration including starters, leavers, contract changes and HR system management
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Managing company credit card reconciliations
- Providing cover for Credit Control when required
- Ensuring purchase ledger closes on time each month
- Ensuring sales invoices are issued promptly
- Overseeing supplier payments and resolving disputed accounts
What do you need:
- Previous finance team management experience
- Experience running payroll and submitting VAT returns
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
