Keighley-based Fibreline, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of upholstery cushion fillings, has appointed Ian Browne as Head of Finance following a successful recruitment process led by Headstar.
The appointment comes at an exciting stage in Fibreline’s growth. The family-owned manufacturing business recently acquired a neighbouring factory to increase capacity and support future expansion, creating the need for a senior finance leader to help guide the next phase of the business.
An experienced finance leader joins the business
A Chartered Management Accountant with more than 20 years’ experience, Ian brings a strong track record of helping businesses improve financial performance and support ambitious growth plans. His background spans manufacturing and other fast-paced sectors, including his most recent role as Finance Director at events agency First Event, where he played a key role in the company’s growth from a £6 million turnover business to one generating more than £25 million.
Supporting Fibreline’s long-term ambitions
As Head of Finance, Ian will lead Fibreline’s finance team, working closely with Managing Director Richard Prudhoe to strengthen financial planning, support strategic decision-making and help drive the continued development of the business.
