Following another successful HerFinance Circle event in June, we can confirm that bookings are now open for our next CPD-accredited event; HerFinance Circle networking event: Investing in Yourself – Coaching & Financial Planning.
Taking place on Wednesday 30th September, 8.30am – 11.30am at Box in Leeds, this CPD-accredited networking breakfast brings together senior female finance professionals from across Yorkshire for a morning of networking, practical learning and open conversation.
Why Attend HerFinance Circle: Investing in Yourself?
Finance leaders spend much of their careers helping organisations make better decisions, developing their teams and supporting the careers of others. Finding time to invest in your own leadership capability and plan for your own financial future often comes second.
That’s the thinking behind this HerFinance Circle event. Through two interactive sessions, delegates will gain practical ideas they can apply both professionally and personally.
Leadership Coaching & Financial Planning
The morning begins with Bianca Spruit, Leadership Consultant and Coach at Sprout Coaching, who will explore why coaching is one of the highest ROI leadership skills leaders can develop.
Drawing on more than 20 years’ experience in technology leadership, Bianca will share practical coaching techniques that help leaders build ownership, improve decision-making and develop stronger, more capable teams. She will share how to move from solving problems to developing confident decision-makers. Delegates will also take part in a live coaching exercise, experiencing first-hand the impact a coaching approach can have.
Following a networking break, Emma Indergaard and Judith Randall from Schofield Money will deliver an engaging gameshow-style financial planning session covering tax planning, inheritance considerations and strategies for building and protecting long-term wealth. Everyone in the room becomes part of the quiz, with the chance to test their knowledge, learn something genuinely useful, and even win a great prize at the end. It’s financial planning… but not as you’ve seen it before.
Networking With Senior Female Finance Leaders
Alongside the speaker sessions, attendees will have plenty of opportunity to connect with senior female finance professionals from across Yorkshire over breakfast and refreshments.
HerFinance Circle has fast become a welcoming community where women in finance can share experiences, build valuable relationships and learn from experts and peers alike.
As a CPD-accredited event (by the CPD Certification Service), attendance also provides 1.5 hours of recognised CPD learning.
