On Wednesday 18th November 2026, Headstar and RSM will be bringing together finance professionals from across Yorkshire for the latest Industry Finance Connect event, exploring what the journey from FD to MD really looks like.

The evening will feature a live panel discussion, chaired by James Roach, Managing Director at Headstar, with three experienced business leaders:

- Kris Nellist – Managing Director, Green-tech (2021 – 2026)
- Christina Geary – Senior Vice President, CGI
Together, they’ll explore some of the key questions facing finance professionals with ambitions to move into wider business leadership.

Our panellists will share their experiences, lessons learnt and advice for those considering a similar career path.
Connecting Yorkshire’s finance community
Industry Finance Connect is a series of networking events hosted by Headstar and RSM, bringing together finance professionals from across Yorkshire to share experiences, discuss relevant business topics and build connections.
For this event, we’ll be heading to a new venue, Banyan in Leeds City Square, where attendees will have the opportunity to network with fellow finance professionals over complimentary drinks and a delicious festive buffet.
