We’re partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed technology business that’s looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join on an initial three-month fixed-term contract, starting ASAP.
This isn’t a role where you’ll spend weeks getting up to speed. They need someone who can hit the ground running, taking ownership of group reporting, consolidations, audit and financial controls while supporting an ambitious international business through an exciting period of growth.
The role is predominantly remote, with occasional collaboration days in Yorkshire, so we’d particularly like to hear from candidates based in Yorkshire or within easy travelling distance.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the finance function continues to operate seamlessly, including:
- Leading group consolidations across multiple international entities in a multicurrency environment.
- Producing accurate group financial reporting and supporting lender reporting requirements.
- Managing the external audit process from planning through to completion.
- Strengthening internal controls and improving governance across the finance function.
- Driving process improvements, automation and standardisation.
- Supporting the continued development of NetSuite and wider finance systems.
- Partnering with stakeholders across international teams to ensure accurate, timely financial information.
What we’re looking for
- You’ll be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong technical background and experience operating in international businesses.
We’re particularly interested in people who have experience of:
- Group consolidations and financial reporting.
- Managing external audits.
- IFRS reporting.
- Developing and enhancing internal controls.
- Working within fast-paced, PE-backed or high-growth environments.
- Building relationships across finance and the wider business.
- NetSuite experience would also be an advantage.
- Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys making an immediate impact and isn’t afraid to roll your sleeves up.
