The next Industry Finance Connect event, hosted by Headstar and RSM, will explore the introduction of the Fair Work Agency (FWA) and what it could mean for employers.
Taking place at RSM’s Leeds office on Thursday 25th June, 5.30pm – 8pm, this free event will look at the Government’s proposed “one stop shop” for worker rights enforcement, including its likely impact on compliance, employment rights and employer responsibilities.
Joining us is Chris Robson, Partner at RSM, who will share practical guidance on fair pay considerations following recent legislative developments. The session will cover key areas including National Minimum Wage, Holiday Pay, Gender Pay, Auto-Enrolment and wider worker rights obligations, plus cost-saving tips.
RSM’s specialists will provide insight into:
- How the Fair Work Agency is expected to operate in practice, including its purpose, powers and structure.
- What recent changes to employment rights enforcement, particularly around Holiday Pay, indicate about the agency’s likely focus during its first year.
- Practical steps employers can take now to improve compliance and reduce risk.
As with all Industry Finance Connect events, the evening is designed to combine valuable technical insight with meaningful networking opportunities over refreshments and free drinks.
Attendees will have the chance to connect with finance leaders and professionals from businesses across the region while sharing experiences and discussing common challenges.
