Management Accountant

Numbers matter, but so does personality – that’s why this business need a Management Accountant like you.

You know that feeling when your mates ask what you actually do and you struggle to explain it without their eyes glazing over?

This isn’t that job.

Yes, it’s a Management Accountant role. Yes, there’s the usual month-end stuff, reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to senior folks who sometimes think “variance” is a new AI buzzword. But here’s the twist, your insight actually matters here.

You’ll be part of a fast-moving finance team that’s trusted by the wider business (rare, I know). You’ll get the chance to work on process improvements, system upgrades, and even be part of conversations that influence decisions, not just react to them.

It’s not all spreadsheets and deadlines. You’ll be chatting with teams that drive revenue, figuring out why numbers don’t look how they should, and suggesting stuff that makes a difference. This is a job for someone who wants to get stuck in, not just clock in.

What you’ll need:

  • Part or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA – not fussed which)
  • Excel skills that could make a pivot table blush
  • Enough experience in finance to know the difference between a journal entry and a jump scare
  • A brain wired for curiosity and improvement, not just ticking boxes

Bonus points for:

  • Having survived (and maybe even enjoyed) the Financial Services sector
  • Being the sort of person who sees a messy process and thinks, “Let’s fix that”
