This is not just another Financial Controller role.

This is a newly created role, because the business has grown – recently acquiring a new entity – and now needs someone to take the lead on pulling their finance setup into something a bit more joined-up and future-proof.

The newly acquired business is going to need a bit more structure, a bit more consistency, and someone who can turn numbers into insight – not just reports into PDFs.

Here’s what’s on your plate:

• Leading the finance integration of a newly acquired business
• Producing management accounts that actually help people make decisions
• Business partnering with each site – which means building real relationships, not just emailing spreadsheets
• Implementing sensible financial controls and processes
• Managing a small but capable transactional finance team
• Translating finance into something stakeholders can act on

What you’ll probably need:

• You’re either an experienced Financial Controller, or a Senior Management Accountant who’s been acting like one anyway
• You’ve got strong commercial acumen – you understand finance isn’t just about reporting, it’s about driving the business forward
• You’re comfortable with a bit of ambiguity – because this isn’t a role where everything’s already built for you
