Accounting isn’t just about plugging numbers into a system. It’s about making sure the right money goes to the right place at the right time. That’s where you come in.

We need an Assistant Accountant who’s got a sharp eye for detail and isn’t afraid to chase overdue payments, reconcile accounts, and keep everything running smoothly. You’ll be involved in everything from credit control and purchase invoices to payroll and management accounts. Basically, if it’s a number, you’ll have a hand in it.

What you’ll be doing:

• Chasing payments and managing credit limits
• Reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements
• Handling invoices, credit notes, and expense claims
• Assisting with payroll and management accounts
• Keeping financial records accurate and up to date

What you’ll need:

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• A self-starter mindset
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, the usual)
• AAT Level 2 (desirable, but not essential)
