𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
A growing property and investment group in North Leeds is looking for a commercially focused Head of Finance to lead the finance function across a multi-entity business.
This is a senior leadership role with real visibility across the group. You’ll work closely with the directors, take ownership of the finance function day-to-day, and play a key part in strategic decisions around growth, investment and performance.
The business operates across property investment, estate agency and education, with an ambitious leadership team and a strong growth agenda already underway.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the detail but can also step back and influence wider commercial decisions.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀
The business is scaling quickly and needs a strong finance lead who can bring clarity, control and commercial insight across multiple entities and revenue streams.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the numbers are accurate and delivered on time, but equally important is your ability to turn financial information into practical recommendations that help drive performance.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲
• Ownership of monthly management accounts across multiple entities
• Clear board reporting with useful commercial insight
• Strong cash flow visibility and control across the group
• Confident oversight of working capital, payment runs and credit control
• Financial modelling and support around acquisitions and investment decisions
• Reporting and analysis across sales and marketing performance, including ROAS, CAC and LTV
• Improvements to systems, reporting and finance processes as the business grows
• Leading and developing an established finance team
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• 5+ years PQE in a senior finance leadership role
• Experience within a £10m+ multi-entity business
• Strong technical accounting background
• Commercial mindset with a focus on profitability, cash and performance
• Confident presenting to directors and non-finance stakeholders
• Experience improving systems, controls and reporting processes
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
Experience within property, education or service-led businesses would help, but isn’t essential.
